noisegate Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 (edited) Hi @MaLd0n, I'm currently using 10.14.6. Would like to know which version will run best on my setup. v12? v13? Also, is it still possible to do a Clover install? It works for me and I know what to do... Thanks! Edited April 10, 2023 by noisegate

noisegate Posted June 13, 2023 Author Posted June 13, 2023 Hey there @MaLd0n, I'm struggling with a Clover Monterey install. Here's what I'm getting after booting into the USB stick with your X79 EFI on it. Here's a dump of my current Mojave install. Thanks for your help! Send_me.zip
noisegate Posted June 19, 2023 Author Posted June 19, 2023 @MaLd0n Hey bro, I've been trying to add/remove kexts but I never seem to find the right combo. If you have any pointers I'm all ears... Thanks!
Administrators MaLd0n Posted June 19, 2023 Administrators Posted June 19, 2023 U need paste or remove kext into kext folder and add entry on config.plist -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Hackintosh Support since 2006 HERE
noisegate Posted June 19, 2023 Author Posted June 19, 2023 (edited) I copied the kexts to the USB EFI, I'm not sure which I should actually use what should I add on config.plist? Can I use the exact same kexts and config.plist entries for Mojave and Monterey? Thanks Edited June 19, 2023 by noisegate
noisegate Posted July 9, 2023 Author Posted July 9, 2023 (edited) Hi @MaLd0n No luck so far, either from your Clover or OpenCore EFI folder. I'm trying to do a clean install on a new drive but I still end up with a kernel panic. Here's what I tried: CLOVER: Adding/removing a few of my Mojave kexts to the ones from the X79 EFI folder: AMDRadeonPro.kext AppleIntelE1000e.kext EFICheckDisabler.kext FakeSMC.kext NoVPAJpeg.kext Adding/removing some of the Mojave boot args that are not in the Monterey config.plist dart=0 keepsyms=1 debug=0x100 shikigva=32 shiki-id=Mac-7BA5B2D9E42DDD94 alcid=1 -- OPENCORE: Initially going with your Desktop IvyBridge EFI -> failure Removed agdpmod=pikera in boot-args as I don't have a NAVI card Going with the setup from this thread: Here is what I'm getting when I try to boot with OpenCore: Thanks Edited July 9, 2023 by noisegate
noisegate Posted September 17, 2024 Author Posted September 17, 2024 @MaLd0n bro PLEASE can you help me with a proper EFI folder? I can't boot into Monterey or Big Sur installer. I always get a panic, I don't know what to do... Sadly your IvyBridge-E OC/Clover EFIs are not working for me, I've been trying for months, now... Thank you 🙏 1

noisegate Posted September 18, 2024 Author Posted September 18, 2024 (edited) Thank you SO MUCH bro. Do you suggest going with Monterey or Big Sur? EDIT: So I tried booting into your EFI but mouse / keyboard are unresponsive, so I can't navigate the menu and eventually get back into Clover. NB. I currently have Big Sur on the USB drive Edited September 18, 2024 by noisegate

noisegate Posted September 18, 2024 Author Posted September 18, 2024 Thanks a lot @MaLd0n, I need to go but I'll try this one as soon as I can. Between Monterey and Big Sur, do you think one will be more stable than the other on my config?
