bradm Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 Can anyone help with this? Dell Latitude 3490 i5-8250u 8gb DDR4 Opencore Rel 085-2022-09-10 I managed to get Ventura installed on my laptop and it can boot without USB. Problems are: 1. Airdrop is not working. Wifi/BT card is Fenvi BCM94360NG. 2. Wifi is slow. I have a 500 down speed and only getting less than 10mbps on download with it. Speeds are perfectly fine with Windows. 3. Ethernet speeds are slow. Only getting 100mbps max on download. Speeds are perfectly fine with Windows. 4. Handoff also not working. It won't let me upload the Runme file because it is bigger than 2.93mb.

These are the files currently in my Kexts folder for Opencore 0.8.5. I see Airdrop when I choose a right and right click on it and go to share but it says to share with someone ask them to open control center, etc. I have tried even sending from my iPad to this mackintosh with no luck. I am familiar with airdrop and how it works but nothing is working. Even though this card says it is 1200mbps I only get less than 100mbps on wifi with a 500mbps connection: BCM94360NG NGFF M.2 2230 WiFi Card 802.11ac 1200Mbps Adapter for macOS and less than 100mbps on ethernet running on cat6 as well straight to modem/router. The upload speeds are fine at 22mbps which is my max on upload from ISP. See attached screenshot of kexts and versions installed. bradm Posted May 19, 2023 Author Posted May 19, 2023 I gave up on this one. I ended up giving it to my brother who came down for a visit. It was given to me for free with repairs needed that I managed to fix. Thanks for the help. I am working on my own laptop that I have, MSI GF63 Thin 9SC which I have posted on another post for some minor help.
