Juan Salvo Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 Hi, how's that going? i built my hackintosh back in 2020 using the high sierra image and since that it has been working perfectly without issues! The thing is that rn i'm running an I3 4170 and i started to look to upgrade it to an i7 4790 or an i7 4770 and i'm not sure if i need to format the SSD and basically re install high sierra or i can just swap CPUs and continue with my current install the other specs of my pc are: mother: gigabyte b85m d3h-a gpu: gtx 960 4gb 8gb ram ddr3

Juan Salvo Posted March 22, 2023 Author Posted March 22, 2023 ok, thanks! i think i'm already using the haswell efi folder since both the i3 and the i7 are from the same gen, only difference i found with the current olarila's efi folders is that i'm running clover instead of opencore
