greens Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 maybe it's the args need to change, but how to do with opencore, there is no menu like on clover? when I press the spacebar it's Reset NVRAM that does the toggle, how do you do it? I do not know how to do and what to do to manage to install macos, here is the display which freezes after having started on the key... I use the EFI.Opencore.Desktop.HEDT.Haswell-E.MOD.zip for a Dell Precision T5810 workstation with Xeon E5-1650 v3 processor (Intel X99 chipset: LGA 2011-3) year: 2015 GPU is AMD... Whats wrong ???

greens Posted February 24, 2023 Author Posted February 24, 2023 3 days I try but there are a few things i didn't understand, i think... now I installed clover to change everything... Q: Do I have to change the efi on the usb key, or that of the menu that is loaded from the ssd disk? I still can't boot into the macOS usb key installer... I try different configurtion, the usb-key with open core I try this boot args : -v alcid=12 watchdog=0 -no_compat_check -radvesa -disablegfxfirmware But same result
greens Posted February 24, 2023 Author Posted February 24, 2023 I try to downgrade the Bios like this https://github.com/OreyM/Hackintosh-Dell-T5810-Xeon-E5-26xx-V3-OpenCore-PowerMac-G5 now I have the 09 version of bios but i try to use older clover solution and I have a graphic card error... Maybe is not compatible with Ventura macos ... this photo is the result with the clover from the github link above and the bios in version 09. If I use Clover or opencore with ventura for x99 from olarila, then it restarts in a loop. I'm going crazy... do I have to use an old macos?
Administrators MaLd0n Posted February 24, 2023 Administrators Posted February 24, 2023 somethings is wrong in procedure -Bios/UEFI in full default settings(Just change settings if need) -Use USB2 port for easy installation with no remap USB -Users with IGPU can use -igfxvesa bootarg for easy installation -Delete old EFI folder and paste new. Don't use merge files -Don't use Drag and Drop into EFI partition. Use Copy/Paste instead -Reset NVRAM one time - with OpenCore use entry "Reset Nvram" / with Clover use F11 key on boot screen -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Hackintosh Support since 2006 HERE
greens Posted February 24, 2023 Author Posted February 24, 2023 thanks Maldon all point is okay, UEFI not legalcy , all is usb 2 and the key, I copy past the EFI and I mouth the folder with ESP Mounter Pro and I empty the trash. It's a quadro Nvida card (with 4 port) not a IGPU Yes have click on the NVRAM or F11 with clover (I have try both) ... Same problem again... With the bios A09, the pc reboot immediately , but with bios A34, it's freeze... I try with 2 different USB key 2.0 and EFI HEDT.Haswell-E.MOD maybe the hardware is to old for ventura
