once616 Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 Hi there, I am new to Hackintosh, happy to find this website, and able to install and run the MacOS. I am using X1 Carbon Gen 3; I fixed the wifi, and the slow wifi issue. However, I am lost in how to install the sound driver for the laptop, it is completely silent right now. Can I ask someone helps to fix this for me please, I check the spec of the laptop and this is Realtek ALC3232, and I found the kext file but not working. Please

once616 Posted February 23, 2023 Author Posted February 23, 2023 Thanks, MaLd0n, I tried Hackintool, Run_Me.app, but both are not able to detect the sound device, I checked the Lenovo website and found the laptop is using HD Audio, Realtek® ALC3232 codec, and someone says it should be "Realtek ALC292", I will try it again.
