kin6k Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 i have a dell that ive been trying to create the efi folder for i get to the install MacOS version screen after the verseboot info i get a black screen ive attempted multiple EFI folders any help is appreciated specs: Intel® Core™ i7-3537U Processor Chipset Intel HM76 1 TD Seagate HDD 8 GB DDR3 Ram Ports and Connectors External: Network One RJ45 port USB • Two USB 3.0 ports • One USB 2.0 port • Intel HD Graphics 4400 series Audio Controller: ALC3223 link to laptop https://dl.dell.com/manuals/all-products/esuprt_laptop/esuprt_inspiron_laptop/inspiron-15r-5521_reference guide_en-us.pdf thanks in advance
Administrators MaLd0n Posted January 6, 2023 Administrators Posted January 6, 2023 -Bios/UEFI in full default settings(Just change settings if need) -Use USB2 port for easy installation with no remap USB -Users with IGPU can use -igfxvesa bootarg for easy installation -Delete old EFI folder and paste new. Don't use merge files -Don't use Drag and Drop into EFI partition.
