Yuriok Posted December 31, 2022 Posted December 31, 2022 I can't boot to install hackintosh I have a NUC 8 model nuc8i5BEH Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8259U CPU @ 2.30GHz 2.30 GHz boot version BECFL357.86A.0089.2021.0621.1343 on 6/21/2021 This is the first time I install the Macintosh on a computer through Windows 11, I downloaded VENTURA Olarila 13.1, installed BalenaEtcher and then replaced the EFI I took from the Olarila website according to the Coffeelake processor. I made a video tutorial this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozyMbV5tqUA I went into Boot, at first I did factory reset settings, I disabled Secure Boot and some other settings according to the YouTube guide and saved.https://youtu.be/KpkVnQtoUqk?t=236 I opened Boot usb, I see lists and one of them is listed OpenCore, I selected and clicked and there is no response to open the MacOS installation of Olarila. I made some changes in the BIOS settings, took different EFI sources, changed twice different USB dongles and even the old versions of MacOS from Olarila I checked guides for installing Olarila and replacing EFI and there is no solution, I even installed using MacOS through VMWARE - no solution. Probably something that needs to be done in the BIOS settings or did I do something wrong? Thanks to the responders and helpers
