isitjake Posted December 22, 2022 Share Posted December 22, 2022 I am trying to install Catalina using the Catalina 10.15.7 with EFI folder for chipset series 300, 400 and 500 that is posted here on this website but after it reboots and goes through the install, I get an error saying Mac OS could not be installed on this computer, the installer resources were not found.... I have 2 Gigabyte z390 I aorus pro wifi builds; one with RX 5500 XT and the other with RX 6650 XT. I was able to install Ventura on the build with RX 6650 XT with your help but I can't complete installation for Catalina on my build with 5500 Xt What should I look at first @MaLd0n ? I have disabled CSM in bios and I have agdpmod=pikera set in boot arguments. I have the bios set as you instructed in the tutorial thread. No nvme, just a 2.5 500gb Western Digital SSD.
