Rhysrhys Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 Just some previous background, since my original DSDT that worked great. I added additional ram and a SN850x nvme and updated the bios (so not sure exactly what caused the issue). Mac OS then would not boot, and displayed the 'stop' sign error. I was able to boot fine once I removed the previous DSTD and replaced it with the basic/stock SSDT file. I have attached the runme file. Send me Mac-Daddy.zip

My monitor has a USBC video input, but nothing shows up in hackintool using the EFI you sent. The USB hub on the monitor also doesn't seem to work using the USBC cable. My airpods charging case has a USBC shape connector but of course only shows as a HS port. Can't I just do a remap later on if I buy something that needs USBC?

Is this going to interfere with creating a DSDT? If so, perhaps I'll order a usbc thumb drive?
