Donmed Posted October 9, 2022 Author Posted October 9, 2022 (edited) Thank you very much. Initially DSDT it works But the system freeze problem still exists. Do you have an idea of the possible causes? I have a question please: Now that I have my own DSDT file, can I delete the two SSDT-EC-DESKTOP and SSDT-PLUG-DRTNIA files that I downloaded earlier from Dortania and use only DSDT? Donmed Posted October 9, 2022 Author Posted October 9, 2022 - I read in dortania guie that (iMac14,2) is no longer supported so I used imac 18,3 instead. - To activate the nvidia card I used chris1111/Geforce-Kepler-patcher, not OCLP.
Administrators MaLd0n Posted October 9, 2022 Administrators Posted October 9, 2022 i think if u used correct system version for ur hardware(iMac14,2) hardware accel work good with nvidia + IGPU 1 -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Hackintosh Support since 2006 HERE
Donmed Posted October 10, 2022 Author Posted October 10, 2022 (edited) I just changed my smbios from 18.3 to iMac 14.2 and it restarted. Now the bot fails. An error message appears: support.apple.com/mac/startup Even though I made sure the serial number was working Is there a way to change smbios without reinstalling the system again? Donmed Posted October 10, 2022 Author Posted October 10, 2022 OK. I will cancel the iGPu g because there is no other solution I have two last questions, please, and sorry for the long post 1- The DSDT file you sent to me, is it enough or do I need SSDT files as well? Why does Dortania not recommend attaching a DSDT file to an ACPI folder? 2- According to my config, what is the best suitable SMBIOS to get support for the current Monterey and the upcoming Ventura? Should I keep the current imac18.3 or is there a better option?

Why does Dortania not recommend attaching a DSDT file to an ACPI folder? missing knowledge about it DSDT is a principal table. All mobo, notebooks have it and we can patch direct but if u like u can use SSDT too to inject some things into DSDT 1 -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Hackintosh Support since 2006 HERE

Donmed Posted October 12, 2022 Author Posted October 12, 2022 First, thank you very much for the help Secondly, I found a solution to the problem and I will share it hereThe solution: The problem was due to using the wrong SMBIOS for my config Since My SMBIOS is no longer supported by Monterey. These patches were used in order to bypass this problem.https://github.com/5T33Z0/OC-Little-Translated/tree/main/09_Board-ID_VMM-SpoofThese patches help you to use your SMBIOS correctly while getting with Monterey support Now igpu and dgpu work together without problems 1
