FlyOdd Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 I am using the EFI folder found at this link: It is the first time I have been able to successfully boot and use an OpenCore version beyond 0.6.3. (This EFI folder has 0.8.2.) Since I have the exact same motherboard as the EFI creator, I assumed it would be "plug and play", and it pretty much is. I can boot fine into my Big Sur installation, and everything appears to work perfectly--except for networking. My motherboard has on-board ethernet that I previously drove with the Atheros kext in my kexts folder. The on-board NIC is not detected now by the OS when booting from the above-noted EFI. I tried adding the Atheros kext to the kext folder, and this did not work. I then installed an Intel PCIe NIC I had on hand, and that wasn't detected, either. I must be missing something simple. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
