miguellgarcia Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 (edited) So after managing to enter the mac os moterey installation process I have encountered this issue that when its about 80% completed (2 minutes remaining in catalina and mojave) (12 minutes remainng in moneterey) the installation process completely stops and my screen and everything gets frozen. I am installing mac os on this laptop with Intel Core i7-8565U 4 x 1.8 - 4.6 GHz (Intel Core i7) : https://www.notebookcheck.net/Asus-ZenBook-Pro-14-UX480FD-BE010T.431572.0.html The dedicated GPU is disabled so it doesnt cause any problem during the installation. I have ran out of ideas and I have spent a lot of time with the installation in my laptop, wheras on my desktop I easily installed hackingtosh. The dGPU has been also disabled via ACPI so it’s 100% off. I attach here my EFI folder, notice some kexts such as keyboard or touchpad arent integrated as they interfiered and gave me kernel panics.
