Connor Salisbury Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 I'm running Big Sur on an Alder Lake system with 2 GPUs. I have an RTX 3080 I use for gaming in Windows and got an RX 560 for use with macOS. I have had a number of GFX related issues whilst trying to get macOS running. I now have a working install of Big Sur but I am limited to VESA driver and macOS is not using the RX 560. Both cards are visible in system info, both are named 'Display' and 3080 is GFX0, AMD is GFX1. The RX 560 is supported and I have had it working in a previous install but macOS would not boot if the 3080 was also installed, only booting when I removed it so I started again from scratch, now I have this issue. I have tried both methods in OC guide (SSDT and DeviceProperties in config.plist) to disable the 3080 but neither work. I have checked the PCI paths and I'm sure they're correct. Can anybody help? Thanks I just tried with the 3080 removed and still limited to VESA drivers so I have no idea what is the cause. Like RX 560 drivers aren’t being used but the card worked fine on last install I just couldn’t boot with 3080 also installed.

No I only have 1 EFI, but I used GenSMBIOS with MacPro7,1 with the config.plist from olarila alder lake build. Was that wrong to do? I thought MacPro7,1 was correct for my hardware

Don't use merge files -Don't use Drag and Drop into EFI partition. Geekbench is up from 9000 to 17000. You're a genius iCloud Keychain was disable though and I can't enable again now Edit: Keychain fixed Edited August 21, 2022 by Connor Salisbury

Maxrpc Max Posted September 21, 2022 Posted September 21, 2022 (edited) Boa noite, aproveitando o tópico eu tenho um problema com a placa intel s2600cp2 o trevo sempre usando o mesmo para instalar ou sob minha abertura do sistema da tela preta .... vi aqui no fórum e eu tenho que mudar o GFX0 para GFX1 mais não consigo .... ssera que tem um tutorial mais basico para eu acompanhar estou tententando colocar os arquivos mais nao da para colocalos Edited September 21, 2022 by Maxrpc Max
