I am trying to install monteray on a system with i7-12700kf, rtx 2070 ti

install location is on a passport 2tb drive for dual boot

have the drive formatted and working Get into the install screen after the bios but when the command line comes up it freezes and leaves a grey stop sign thing. Please help I’m new to this scene
