levomac Posted August 5, 2022 Posted August 5, 2022 Hi Maldon, My laptop set up is working fine with Ventura beta 4 and most things working as expected, but after updating to the latest Opencore development build of version 0.8.3 specifically the last 3 builds, and 0.8.4 builds, I loose the touch pad completely. If I revert back to earlier dev builds of Opencore that is earlier than 22/7/2022, my touchpad works as expected. But with newer builds cursor is stuck , I can use a usb mouse fully functional but touch pad pane is gone from preferences. Rest all still works as expected. Battery is detected and works normally. My laptop is is an Asus x512 FAC laptop with full dsdt patched by you. i3 10110u, cometlake It has touchpad: ELAN 1300 \_SB.PCI0.I2C1.ETPD I updated opencore using OCAT update and sync technique and all the kext and drivers are from dortania repo builds. Kext used are voodooI2C, voodooI2CHID and voodoops2controller kext. On looking at system log I find : (VoodooGPIO) <compose failure [UUID]> 2022-08-05 15:49:30.734390+0530 0x76 Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: VoodooGPIO) VoodooGPIOCannonLakeLP::Loading GPIO Data for CannonLake-LP 2022-08-05 15:49:37.474939+0530 0x2dc Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: (VoodooGPIO) VoodooGPIOCannonLakeLP::VoodooGPIO Init! 2022-08-05 15:49:37.474940+0530 0x2dc Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: (VoodooGPIO) VoodooGPIOCannonLakeLP::VoodooGPIO Initializing Community 0 2022-08-05 15:49:37.474952+0530 0x2dc Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: (VoodooGPIO) VoodooGPIOCannonLakeLP::VoodooGPIO Initializing Community 1 2022-08-05 15:49:37.474960+0530 0x2dc Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: (VoodooGPIO) VoodooGPIOCannonLakeLP::VoodooGPIO Initializing Community 2 (VoodooGPIO) VoodooGPIOCannonLakeLP::GPIO Controller is already awake! levomac Posted August 6, 2022 Author Posted August 6, 2022 @Maldon, First of all very sorry for the delay in acknowledging your very prompt reply. Thanks indeed. Actually I uploaded an ioreg with the version that works with my system. I am attaching an ioreg with booting with latest 0.8.4 build of Opencore, I cant see those entries. Could you have a look if am not being too bothersome. This is when there is not touchpad, with the latest OC builds. Thanks no touchpad MacBook Pro.zip
