kona144 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Hello i have a problem with the Mavericks installation. First i followed the tutorial EXACTLY and because it froze right before the installer i moved the kext files. But as i want to try an boot it shows a bit more (the gray colored background with an apple in the middle and the cursor is the rainbow of death or how do you call it) and then i tryed and tryed untill it somehow boot up to the installation but it didnt recognise my hdd because i didnt have it set to AHCI in the BIOS. Now when i rebooted it doesn't work tryed it like for 50 times and no luck it says something about the keys that werent found and the "network delay not specified defaulting to 0x384" message. Sorry for my bad english. If you can please help.
kona144 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Got it working with this command: -v -x GraphicsEnabler=No PCIRootUID=0

kronoz Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Hey guys This is my very first post on forums. I'm totally new in MAC OS X and hackintosh, so please exuse my silly questions. I just got new PC with following sppecs: Proc: i7 4770k Motherboard: ASUS Maximus VI Hero RAM: Kingston 16GB DDR3 2400 Mhz GPU: AMD Radeon R9 200 Series With that spec, I'm 100% sure that I'm able to run Mavericks OS =). I've got 3 Hard drives in my computer. 120gb SSD for my windows, 1TB for programs, games, downloads... (for Windows), And empty 500gb HDD for my future MAC OS X. I've downloaded .raw file, writed it on USB with Win32DiskImager. At this step I need to boot it from bios (UEFI). I put USB prio to #1, but there's no response, it boots in Windows normaly. This is where I get stucked, on very begining xD. Would be really grateful for any help, Regards
labeebahmad32 Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 Boot the USB drive, then choose to boot the HD you just installed OS X (not the installer USB again).[done this perfectly]. - Install boot loader to the HD.[ I don't know how to do this.]

labeebahmad32 Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 actually i already got rid of using usb everytime. i did this by 1. Installing latest clover 2. mounted EFI folders of hard disk and usb from terminal on desktop. 3. Copied EFI from USB to Hard disk.......reboot.. 4. Booted from clover of hard disk. Then I didnt need to boot from USB. Now the problem is cpus=1.. is the solution mentioned above is for both issues or just for cpus=1?? I appreciate your assistance.

pernacabeluda Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 Insert it in your config.plist <key>KernelAndKextPatches</key> <dict> <key>KernelLapic</key> <true/> </dict> If you don't take the time to read the documentation you will never get things working properly. -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Consulting for macOS Hackintosh since 2006 HERE

pernacabeluda Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 It must be Mac Os Extended (Journaled) You need at least one free partition, use Disk Utility (in the Utilities menu) to erase it as Mac Os Extended (Journaled).
