webbuilder Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 I've booted multiple times with several flags USBBusFix, USBLegacyOff, busratio etc. But mouse/kb not working. Its strange that they work at the boot screen but afterwards they lose power. There's no light on either of the mice. Please help, I am stuck.

musadiqmanas Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Hi guys, starting post stated: "You need at least one free partition, use Disk Utility (in the Utilities menu) to erase it as Mac Os Extended (Journaled). If you want to install the boot loader in this partition and you use MBR (not GUID, like if you already have Windows in the HD), it must be a primary (not extended/logical) partition". I have MBR and a free primary partition of 50 GB for Mavericks. When I try to erase it to Mac OS Extended journaled using Disk Utility, it shows error saying that partition can't be modified because it's MBR. Any suggestions plz..?

labeebahmad32 Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 I do have a question. What is better? A. Format whole HDD and install only mac os X mavericks if i have backup of windows on another PC. B. Install mac os on a partition and keep both OS.
labeebahmad32 Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 MD5 (OS X 10.9 Install USB.raw) = 6179a219e1bf7634fb321fabb8d3288d - Copy the .raw file to an USB stick For Windows http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Live_USB_stick#Download_ImageWriter or http://sourceforge.net/projects/win32diskimager/ If you have error during copy, eject and re-connect the pen drive. When Windows asks if you want to format it, cancel and run Image Writer again. Ive successfully copied raw file to usb. Now what should i do?

musadiqmanas Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 So I've installed Mavericks on my HP-1000 Notebook with Clover installed in HDD. Many thanks to staff for cooperation and guidance! A bit more of help needed to: - - Get my WiFi working - - Get my Nexus 4 recognised by Mavericks to transfer files Regards!
musadiqmanas Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Not working:- Intel HD4000 Graphics (looking for a solution...) - Touchpad (looking for a solution...) - Wi-Fi (and it won't) - Audio (looking for a solution...) No tested: - HDMI out - VGA out I think that's all. I'll keep searching and googling, as I always do because I want to learn, not only try other's answers. "WiFi won't work" -- said for one system for some reason or any general bug..?
