Administrators MaLd0n Posted February 24, 2023 Administrators Posted February 24, 2023 SOME WORDS OpenCore is fantastic and amazing bootloader(we wait for over 15 years) but inject ACPI and other things into Windows, Linux, etc and we need to use generic way(SSDTs) to boot into these Oses and avoid problems. With this OpenCore fork all these problems is solved and we can use one perfect full patched Hackintosh with no problems to boot into Windows, Linux, etc via OpenCore Picker. Minimal changes and not affect the integrity of OpenCore. scientificharmony Posted January 23, 2024 Posted January 23, 2024 Has anyone actually done dual boot of windows/linux using this and can tell me what steps they done? This guide doesnt tell you when and where to put the new EFI fork files and the procedure of installing the other OS. I currently have MacOs only installed. I want to add a linux partition either on same nvme or the second nvme. Any help appreciated. Thanks Chris 1
