SOME WORDS

OpenCore is fantastic and amazing bootloader(we wait for over 15 years) but inject ACPI and other things into Windows, Linux, etc and we need to use generic way(SSDTs) to boot into these Oses and avoid problems. With this OpenCore fork all these problems is solved and we can use one perfect full patched Hackintosh with no problems to boot into Windows, Linux, etc via OpenCore Picker. Minimal changes and not affect the integrity of OpenCore.

Thank you a lot for your support and your answer, I tried several versions of high sierra but I still have a compatibility problem didnt find the right one to install, concerning opencore patcher I think I made a mistake somewhere because when i  have access to efi in the bios i got black screen then remaining at opencore boot, so i cant use the efi mode, thanks for your time and help.

Has anyone actually done dual boot of windows/linux using this and can tell me what steps they done?

This guide doesnt tell you when and where to put the new EFI fork files and the procedure of installing the other OS.

I currently have MacOs only installed. I want to add a linux partition either on same nvme or the second nvme.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Chris
