I've followed your guides and used a a few different EFI's (Opencore & Clover for coffeelake & Chipset series 30) but each time I get a black screen with support.apple.com/mac/startup.

I have the following Hardware:

MSI Z390 Gaming Plus Motherboard

Intel i7-8700 (coffeelake)

Radeon RX 580

I ultimately would like to have a duel boot Windows/Mac machine, so any support/help/guidance would be much appreciated

use bios/uefi in default and disable only csm

HI, Sorry should have mentioned I've done that and turned off secure boot
