danideicide Posted January 4, 2022 Posted January 4, 2022 Hello! I have this motherboard with Realtek ALC887 audio. I have followed the Dortania's OpenCore guide, everything is working except mapping jacks. I've tried all the layouts ids mentioned in the AppleALC docs https://github.com/acidanthera/AppleALC/wiki/Supported-codecs but without 100% working setup. I've had previously High Sierra with Clover (and audio worked) but I formatted the disk for the OpenCore version. I'm pretty sure that AppleALC does support my setup, but I'm not doing something right. Can someone please help me? Thank you!

danideicide Posted January 5, 2022 Author Posted January 5, 2022 Thank you @MaLd0n, but I've already done that. Tried every single layout (and cleared NVRAM in the process for some of them). I can see the changes, but each layout doesn't match my motherboard audio setup (3 jacks on rear: pink, green, blue). I can get only two to work. I see that the guide you've wrote is very easy to understand. Thank you for it! Isn't there any guide on patching audio (AppleALC)?
