Ok. Would you be able to advise which would be the best kext to use?

I have a kext called Elan Touchpad. Also do I start the Installer with Clover or Chameleon?

If with Clover do I launch it with anything from the menu when hitting Space Bar?

Hi,

I finally managed to install Mountain Lion.

I just installed Chameleon bootloader.

But when I try to boot without the USB bootloader I get the following kernel panic.

It seems that the ApplePolicyControl driver is causing it. Shall I remove the kext ? Or maybe do I need to add some switches at the boot prompt ?

Do you know how I can get IntelCapriFB working with Clover?

Also everytime I boot Clover it stays on Bluetooth service for ages and then goes to the Installer, when at the Installer all I get it a black screen.

My internal graphics is Intel HD 4000.

I hope you can help.

Don't forget to remove NullCPUPowerManagement from EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.8 after you configure config.plist for power management

Ok thank you very much, do you think is strictly necessary to remove It? Or, in general, is necessary to configure config.plist according the wiki? My machine runs very very well and I don't want to touch anything, consider that my installation see every device connected on It:

- APC UPS battery backup

- Bluetooth on an external usb 2.0 hub

- Datacolor Spyder 3

- Recognize my graphics and my Acer monitor

- Ethernet card

- Audio

- USB 3.0 with fantastic speed

And using hw monitor sw the temperature and CPU infos are perfect as in Windows 7.

Which kext should I remove to get it working and not get it asking for a bluetooth keyboard?

So, now I can boot ML with: -v npci=0x2000 GraphicsEnabler=No. So, what should I install on multishit? (I am newbie. This is the first time I use OS X ) And can anyone tell me how to change display resolution?

Hi,

I finally managed to install Mac OS X using iATKOS ML2 on my acer aspire v5-571P

I am facing problem activating my Intel HD4000 , i cannot boot without GraphicsEnabler=No

I have installed Chameleon (Latest Version) which supports Intel HD4000 but when i boot it says set your memory in bios to 32MB, 64MB or 96MB which is supported by Intel HD4000.

I cannot change the memory size in my bios setting .. Bios version is v2.03..

Please help ..

you don´t need to. hd4000m is set as 64mb or 128mb.

either way can be enabled by choosing the right string.

After made a USB boot and setup MAC successfully and went to restart step. I selected target MAC partition and hit enter but could not get boot into MAC.

I got error:

" unable to find driver for this platform:\"ACPI\"@/source cache/xnu/xnu-2050.24.15 lokit/kernel/IOPlatformExpert.cpp.1514"

I tried to copy many kexts but still got same error.(removed kexts already).

Please help me to resolve this.

Anybody got experience about this please help.

and how do i enable intel hd 4600? some animation like opening notification and launchpad very lag.

Do you know how I can get the Elan Touchpad driver to load on startup to the installer using Clover?

Every time I try to get it to load and put the driver on the EFI it does not seem load it.
