praetorius Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I have a problem of my own, AGPM fails to load which in turn fails to enable the graphics card. Using smbios 6,2 here.
artur-pt Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 hello u can try see here.. the agpm kext have several entries.. for the several mac machine.. make a copy to the desk and open the kext and see the info.plist and should look for the imac13,1 or 13,2 configuration http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=1839 good hack PB Easy Note TM 86 - i5 430 M - H55M - Ram - 6 GB - Alc272 - Radeon HD 5470 512 QE/CI Lenovo G500 - i5 3230m - HM77 - Ram - 8 GB - Conexant audio - HD 4000 My OS X Files
praetorius Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 and should look for the imac13,1 or 13,2 configuration http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=1839 good hack thanks for that. do you mean i install 13,1/13,2 smbios or copy the settings from 13,1/13,2 and put it into 6,2? I have seen on another guide from this site (in Portuguese) talking about patching the AGPM and there was a "patch.txt" for legacyAGPM.kext. can I instead copy those txt file and put that in the plist instead?
artur-pt Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 hello the legacy_agpm is a kext to give the right parameters to agpm in the original kext are some values for mac machines .. right if u use certain smbios (like imac13,2) it use in agpm the values for a imac13,2 .. and if u have the the graphics of a imac13,2 no problem.. must of the people use a smbios.. but they hardware is not equal .. so problems.. u say u use a 6,2 what is that ? good hack PB Easy Note TM 86 - i5 430 M - H55M - Ram - 6 GB - Alc272 - Radeon HD 5470 512 QE/CI Lenovo G500 - i5 3230m - HM77 - Ram - 8 GB - Conexant audio - HD 4000 My OS X Files
praetorius Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Mac Mini 6,2 So what do you suggest i use for my desktop? Asus P8H77 with i7-3770?
artur-pt Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 hello download from app store is free mactracker and see what mac is more adequate to u config.. i think mac mini is only with hd 4000.. but u can check it and must do test.. with smbios from mac with ivy cpu , personally i think a imac.. but that only can be confirmed with test.. desk ones.. good hack PB Easy Note TM 86 - i5 430 M - H55M - Ram - 6 GB - Alc272 - Radeon HD 5470 512 QE/CI Lenovo G500 - i5 3230m - HM77 - Ram - 8 GB - Conexant audio - HD 4000 My OS X Files
praetorius Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 ok, i was in imac 13,2 and graphics drivers were loaded properly, no qe/ci. downloaded mactracker and found out that my system is actually compatible for imac 13,1 so i changed the smbios and the result is it won't boot! oh well, gonna download the 10.8.5 and see if that changes my luck for me tomorrow EDIT: reinstalled 10.8.4, smbios iMac31,1 since i cannot wait until tomorrow. edited AGPM as suggested above, i got QE/CI!!!
cexe Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Thnx for the 10.8.5, however, can u possibly upload the file on a host rather than torrent. Its not quite safe lately appreciate it ... cheers

loismustdie555 Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 This is going to seem like a stupid question. But, I have an NVidia GTX 690. And I guess I need to delete the graphics .kexts. So, Do I delete the NVidia ones? Or the AMD/Intel ones? Or all of them?
