If the system is installed in SATA AHCI and you can boot using the installer pen drive, install AHCIPortInjector.kext from /EFI/kexts/10.8 to the HD.

In Clover you probably need this in config.plist

i don't know config .. i just download then extract and use image writer it to usb 8gb.., finally boot with usb

Try to change some setting in your bios, set your hdd into AHCI mode, avoid legacy or IDE things, this is all i know about this problem :/

now, my bios lost advance tab, i dont know why it lost because when i buy this lap, is still have advance tab and can config ahci

Most of manufacturers don't allow advanced BIOS settings :/ you need to flash an modded bios.. but this could kill you laptop if you don't know what you are doing..

Ask here if they can mod you an bios :

3 month ago i broke my friend's laptop ..i flashed the wrong bios :/

I recommend you to avoid this method and to do some research about "still waiting for root device" maybe you can found an easier solution

Finally i have installed Mac OS X ML.. but now I'm facing following problems.

1. I cant boot using Clover i get kernel panic.. If i boot from USB using chameleon then it works. what to do? :S

2. When i startup or shutdown all the text appears on the screen.. is there any way that it wont show up?

I think it can be fixed if I don't boot using -v (verbose mode)

3. I cant get sound from my both devices 560 ti or Creative SB X-fi Elite Pro sound card. so there is no sound :S

4. I want to Dual Boot windows 7 64 bit from separate hard drive will Chameleon work?

5. How should i know that My GPU 560 ti is working properly.. i can see 1080p display and can see 560 ti working properly in System Info app.. does it means it is working properly?

6. App Store is also not working for me.. i cant create a new account

I have tried so many things but i cant boot from HD by installing boot loader.. please guide

The only way to boot is through USB, using chameleon by pressing 1 :S

Kindly please help i'm stuck with these problems.

Greetings! I am new in installing Mac OS X. Actually, I downloaded already the OS itself but I'm having kernel panic and it says that cannon load UEFI settings??.. I really want to install this. Please help me, I am really new installing this since I never owned a Mac products.

Btw, this my system:

Intel Core i5 2320

8GB RAM

Power Color 7770 ( AMD Radeon 7770) Since i found that my gpu are supported in this version of ML(10.8.3)

When ever i try to boot from Hard disk through chameleon boot loader i get this kernel panic (attached image) please help.. if I set the system definition to iMac 12.2 then still i get the same error how to fix??

I need to know if i need to flash the bios of my motherboard (i mean is it necessary)??

I'm using system definition MacPro 4,1 to Fix the 560 ti values (as mentioned in below link).. is there any way to attempt 560 ti fix, if I use system definition iMac 12,1 or iMac 12,2.

I want to build another Hackintosh and i want to know that if this PC is OK for Mountain Lion, or should I install Lion or Snow Leopard.

System Specs:

Intel Dual Core E6500 (2.93Ghz)

Asus P5QPL-AM (Intel G41 Chipset) (LGA775), Video Chipset: Intel GMA 4500(M)(HD)

Audio: Realtek ALC887

Network Card: Atheros AR8121/AR8113/AR8114 PCI-E Ethernet Controller (NDIS6.20)

1 gb DDR2 Ram (Bus Speed 667 Mhz)

Let me if there is some DSDT available for this Motherboard.

If I need to upgrade RAM then let me know (DDR2 2gb 800 Bus would be fine?). I need to know about SMBIOS shall i select iMac 9,1 it will be fine? or shall i use Mac Pro 3,1?

Hello, new to the forum and hackintosh looking for some guidance

I have managed to boot the flash drive and install osx onto my hard drive. when I boot it up after installing it I select the hard drive it flashes some text on the screen very quickly and then reboots.

I have tried using verbose mode -v, safe mode -x, -f, and -F. What can it be if it will boot from the usb but not from the hard drive.

additional info:

for some reason it always boots straight to chameleon i have never seen clover.

I am using a 128gb kingston ssd

motherboard: asrock Z77 extreme 4

cpu: corei7 3770k

my graphics is intel hd 4000

I checked the link you posted and I found this link http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=3111. I couldn't even begin to understand what those instructions were explaining but I noticed that the files gave the vid card 32mb of ram. I set my bios to give only 32mb to video and it booted up!

I'm sure there's a long road ahead because nothing works currently, but at least I have something to work with!

I installed with -v -x -f GraphicsEnabler=NO. Everything was fine until this morning, i could not boot to MAC OS. Does anyone can help me please? I used Dell Inspiron 5250 with Intel i7 3612QM. Mac OS did not recognize any graphic cards, ATI 7670 or even HD 4000 with full kexts installation.
