You are doing something wrong. That message is because you are booting from the HD.

You can try this

i tried to enable what i saw of those. not all appeared. i think bc i have a processor with a 1333 fsb it wont give me straight options for C1E and EIST

after googling I used certain strings to get the cd to boot:

-f -v -x GraphicsEnable=No npci=0x2000

tried GraphicsEnable=Yes, npci=0x3000, and every combination there of

that got me some friendly looking grey loading screens with lots of strings, but after about 6 of those screens it went to a black screen with messages.one of the last one was

BootCacheControl: Unable to open /var/db/BootCache.playlist: 2 no such file or directory

googled that a bunch but nothing working so far

It's probably a video issue, try moving video kexts, see first post.

Changed my bios settings. Tried default loader and pressing 1 for the other boot loader too. WJAG else did you mean ?

You can also move kexts booting with flag -s (single user mode)

So this is all new to me. So when I boot and get to clover, I go I to options and type the boot string -s and then try to load? Or so I have to type other commands to delete those kexts? (Nvidia card)

After booting with -s (using Clover or Chameleon) you should get to a prompt, where you will run the other commands on the first post.

Ok awesome. It told me with GeForce* there was no such file or directory but the rest seemed to work

I was able I reboot and got to install screen and its installing now!

I have a new problem now. Installed, booted up, went to install multishit and it failed to install. I launched console to see the errors:

new to mac so plz bear wid me if m askin a silly question..i downloaded ML bootable USB for intel PC..(currently running windows 7 n thinkin to dual boot it with mac) When m tryin to install it, my USB mouse stops working during installation.. In clover, i get "install mac os x" screen n dat time usb mouse doesnt work.. in chameleon, 1st screen i get to select language n mouse doesnt work from here. tried d method of waiting for 15 min as suggested by a few but it dint work n i got a blank screen after waiting..

Also,i get "usb hub device has produced overcurrent condition and it has been disabled."

i ve PS/2 KB so i added kext in "system/library/extensions".. also added fakesmc there..n deleted appleintelHD* and appleintelsnb* files n cache coz i wasnt able to go til installation screen..

plz help coz w/o mouse n kb working m stuck up at 1st screen itself.

I was directed here from insanelymac. The installer starts and runs fine, however only the bootloader (chameleon) sees my hard drives

I had problem when installing ML 10.8.3 on my acer using retail disk, the installer allways says that "cannot downlad additonal file bla bla",

Mmm I want to try your installer, but I cannot download it. I'm using zbigz to download that torrent and allways failed and it waste my time.

If you want to install the boot loader in this partition and you use MBR (not GUID, like if you already have Windows in the HD), it must be a primary (not extended/logical) partition.

Can U be more specific please?

i already have win7 at the same hdd,and i love to dual boot,tell me how to do that pls.

yes,my c disk is primary and d disk for hackintosh is primary disk,i see in disk managment in windows...when i make d disk mac os journaled,i install mountain lion on that disk,install chameleon,and than what?how can i boot windows later?

man mac os x is for mac.. developed exclusively for mac

hack mac os x is 99%of reading, googling, persistency and 1% of luck u hardware be compatible

what u want a step by step

install the boot loader if chameleon it will make the boot...

anyway when u mess with hd, partitions, usually users make a backup copy ... if anything go wrong...

Works Flawlessly! i forgot to switch my bios to AHCI , that is why the OS didn't see the HDDs. Thank you!
