pmc Posted November 18, 2021 Share Posted November 18, 2021 (edited) I3 4150 + GIGABYTE H81M-S + NVIDIA 710 + VGA MONITOR I SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED OLARILA CATALINA IN THE ABOVE MACHINE. INSTALLATION WAS STRAIGHT FORWARD AND NOT EVEN A SINGLE ISSUE WAS FACED . I COPIED THE EFI FOLDER FROM USB TO EFI PARTITION . WHEN BOOTED FROM USB, EVERYTHING IS OK AND VGA OUTPUT IS THERE . BUT WHEN BOOTED FROM HDD, THE DISPLAY GOES BLANK MIDWAY AND ONLY THERE WILL BE HDMI OUTPUT. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE . CLOVER BOOT LOGS IN THE TWO SCENARIOS ARE ATTACHED . With this efi folder, the system continuous on a loop of messages related to flush etc . i tried many other EFI folders but every time , the vga output get turned off midway .
