@irex01:

Hi again :-)

These are the ASMedia USB3 ports.

You need drivers for the ASM1042 chipset, check my first post for instructions.

They will work without any DSDT edits, you may get Sleep problems though.

In case you made an installation from a thumb drive, you can use it to access the partition and delete the kexts.

You may try to enter 'DSDT=' into the Chameleon boot parameter line to boot without a DSDT.

I guess reinstall is only option

do with boot -s

then type:

mount -uw /

rm -rf /system/library /extensions/CalDigitFastIO.kext

exit

then: mount -uw /

rm -rf /system/library/extensions/CalDigitUSBxHCI.kext

exit

Hi mirone

when i flash my board with modified rom, it should remove the requirement of appleIntelCPUmanagment.kext and AppleACPIPlatform.kext. however, even after successfully flash (using DCPIManagment), i still cant get into main screen of Mountain Lion. The verbose shows that it still requires those kexts. is that rite? cuz when i install those 2 kexts, i can boot to mountain lion => DCPIManagement didn't successfully flash the modified rom

so i wonder if you could show me how to flash the mobbed rom in dos. maybe it would succeed

maybe i should not ask it here , im sorry about
