dashMaster Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 (edited) Hello guys. I need your help. I have almost successful installation of Big Sur on my laptop (Acer Nitro 5 AN515-52). I took as a basis THIS efi. I have just one issue that disturb my comfort with hackintosh. Battery indicator. It's almost working, but not. When i plug/unplug charging cable - battery status not changes right away. It needs time to charge/discharge 1% to change battery status. Sometimes battery status not changing at all - shows 100% until it is completely discharged or laptop has been rebooted. I have ECenabler kext but seems like it doesn't work. I tryed to patch DSDT with Rehabman guide, but I didn't succeed. I have no more than 8 bit fields in my EC. Please help me with this issue, and sorry for horrible English. I have only ECenabler, virtualsmc and SMCBatteryManager. I realy have no idea why indicator doesn't work. I have one battery, ECenabler must work, but it's not.
dashMaster Posted September 16, 2021 Author Posted September 16, 2021 I also tried to update common kext's to latest version: Lilu, ECEnabler, VirtualSMC and plugins. After VirtualSMC update - I cant boot. I returned everything as it was:(
