radu.cocea Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 hello for the video see how to http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=3111 good hack Yes, I saw that a few days ago when I've tried the iAktos. Could not manage to make it work for some reason. I've found clover and fell in love with it. It's a marvelous piece of happiness, and hopefully I'll mange to make the sound work, somehow. Sience 2005 I've been waiting for a chance to play fully with a OS X, never had the compatible HW. Now I'm so close I'm not going back to iAktos, I like Clover much more, even if the sound is off.

I'm Italian and I prefer English. I'm trying to get my ALC 882 working in Mountain Lion 10.8.3. I've followed the guide and I can see my sound configuration after all work but not in prefspane. I have 2 sound assertion with AppleHDADriver (line 1053 and 1078). I attach my relevant files (patched AppleHDA.kext, ioreg, org.chameleon (the efi string here is for nvidia 560 gtx and for my intel E 1000 ethernet card) and screenshots). I used layout 1 with pathmapID 9. I have no audio input/output. Hope you can help. Best regards Vincenzo a.k.a. vavoli

zarksus Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Hello everyone, thank you for this enlightening post. I have a small problem and do not know where to start. To operate the audio on my Packard-Bell I had to install VoodooHDA (and I think VoodooHDA have disabled AppleHDA) and it all works very well except for the HDMI audio. Could you help me understand how I can do to make the HDMI audio properly? EDIT: I have an Intel HD3000

zarksus Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Hi Mirone, I tried several times the solutions presented in this topic but I could not run the HDMI. In the Preferences -> Sound HDMI output appears, and in preferences -> VoodooHDA there are controls for the HDMI output but I have no audio output. Help please. Should I use AppleHDA instead of VoodooHDA? If I disable VoodooHDA I do not work any more sound (so I think it should be patched)

zarksus Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 I have been following this thread since I have the same: Series/C200 Intel Corporation 6 Series Chipset Family High Definition Audio Controller [8086:1 c20] (rev 05) I have tried using the kext at the end of the discussion, and I removed HDADisabler and VoodooHDA but nothing works. I've never tried to patch AppleHDA manually. I am attaching this file which includes the specs of my system. ts11HR.txt.zip

zarksus Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 Thank you Mirone!!! The sound is much more powerful and clear than when I was using VoodooHDA. but the internal mics and HDMI audio does not work. For the mics I tried to increase the db of the two microphones in the MIDI settings but does not receive any input. What could be due to the non-functioning of the microphones and HDMI Audio? Can you fix it? Thanks again for all your help
