aznphatb0i Posted December 12, 2012 Author Posted December 12, 2012 I dragged that KEXT onto KextUtility and it went through the process -- however I still have no audio -- there are no 'output' devices shown--
Cassio Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 There's a DSDT patch in the link you posted, it won't work without that. aznphatb0i Posted December 12, 2012 Author Posted December 12, 2012 (edited) There's a DSDT patch in the link you posted, it won't work without that. You mentioned before that you already included those changes in the instructions you gave me? On first post you linked a patched AppleHDA. DSDT patch was edited to work with that kext. I used the DSDT modifications you suggested. (Attached here: http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=2575#p19724) If you are using it and it still doesn't work, try to get help here http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1933 Unfortunately I only speak english I do know for a fact that the chipset my board has is ALC269 I see a number of files referencing 'ALC269' -- http://www.osx86.net/view/3445-alc269_kext_audio_-_by_ameersaeed.html http://www.osx86.net/view/3357-applehda-alc269.html http://www.osx86.net/view/3455-alc269_acer_5745g_applehda.html Are any of these relevant to me? If I try any of these -- will the DSDT changes you included in the patch cause any problems? Edited December 12, 2012 by Guest
Cassio Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 You can post in english. The kext was patched by Mirone who is also the author of that topic. -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Consulting for macOS Hackintosh since 2006 HERE
aimi1 Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 (edited) I'm looking to upgrade the RAM on my Dell Inspiron 530. I currently have 2gb and would like to go to 6gb. My only concern is that the motherboard won't support the additional RAM. How can I find this out? I'm running windows 7 and upgrade this to windows 8 next month. dell i7 price in pakistan Edited July 17, 2013 by Guest Acer aspire 5742
