Nenad Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Hi all! Don't get me wrong, i am thankful for your effort, but: 1) the gfxutil code part wont work unless you put ./ before the command (call me n00b, but i spent half an hour there) 2) why did you describe entire generating process, and linked two files if the result is the same? why didn't you simply put <key>device-properties</key> <string>5600000001000000010000004a0000000100000002010c00d041030a000000000101060000027fff0400240000004100410050004c00300030002c004400750061006c004c0069006e006b0000000800000001000000</string> to be placed in boot.plist? Or even simpler 5600000001000000010000004a0000000100000002010c00d041030a000000000101060000027fff0400240000004100410050004c00300030002c004400750061006c004c0069006e006b0000000800000001000000 to be placed in "device properties" section of chameleon wizard? 3) unless i did something wrong, it's not working

Nenad Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 ok, thanks again, that makes a lot of sense, i did not try to disrespect you or your work in any way... Quite the opposite, i am very grateful to you, and the entire community... Regarding the solution... It worked, but only half way... Meaning that resolution is now ok, 1600x900, BUT i only see left half of the picture stretched over the screen... And i must say your method does work, i have learned a lot in these few days beating around for the solution... IT WORKED!!! Kexts you sent + dual link trough boot.plist! Thank you very much!!!
cheebuos Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Thank you so much! My conf of Dell Inspirion N7110: i5-2430m, HD3000 without any discrette graphics, 4Gb Ram (2+2) PC-12800, Wi-Fi N1703 with BT on Atheros 9285 (I guess) in stock. It was not easy to use your guide, but I don't give up. Now I have native resolution. This is first time (!) when I get it. Now I'm testing system. But I have some troubles with booting. Offen I have KP. But if I boot, seems working. Sorry for my poor English)

ardarulez Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 hi all i have intel 3000hd (dev id:116) and can't inject dual link. my laptop is asus n55sf (specs are here: http://www.cnet.com/products/asus-n55sf-a1-15-6-core-i7-2630qm-windows-7-home-premium-64-bit-8-gb-ram-750-gb-hdd/specs/) i installed mavericks(niresh distro) everything works except my intel 3000hd. my resolution is 1024*768 if i use these kexts,(https://github.com/dcazorla/hackintosh-kexts-asus-n55sf/tree/master/10.8/Video) my res is 1920x1080, but doesnt have qe/ci. i can't open videos on my pc, or play any game etc. I'm trying duallink. my boot loader is chamelon and for getting native DSDT, I'm starting with DSDT:Null boot flag (if ı don't do it, MaciASL extract pre-edited DSDT file, if ı do, it shows SYSTEM-DSDT so, when i try to patch, always take errors (http://imgur.com/QCgWeFG), with DSDT Editor, got same errors again. where is my problem? i just click patch button, select Duallink.txt, apply, then compile. but always get errors. Cant get i native dsdt because of my screen resolution? or what? thanks for advices.
