Hi, I have installed my Hackintosh (Opencore) with the EFI downloaded from your site. CHIPSET SERIES 50 (ROCKETLAKE).

-The sound does not work. except for HDMI on monitor. Video applications (Quicktime and VLC) don't work properly because of this I think. I have tried changing the argument to alcid = xx with the series 1, 2, 69, 51, 50. But it doesn't work.

-Ehernet works with Hardware options: manual, 1000baseT, duplex-flow control.
-I have installed a BlackMagic Decklink 4k Extreme PCIe card. It doesn't work either.
-External USB disks and Firewire 800 disks are not detected.

I intend to install a thunderbolt 4 card, but have not purchased it yet.

In my Catalina Opencore installation with EFI that I copied from InsanelyMac it works:

-The BlackMagic DeckLink 4K card
-Audio only worked through rear speakers and front panel.
-Ethernet worked in a similar way.
-USB and Fireware external drives

Attached is my Send me and my EFI from Catalina. The Big Sur EFI is the one downloaded from your website CHIPSET SERIE 50 (ROCKETLAKE).

I'd appreciate it if you could help me with my setup. YOU DO A GREAT JOB. I've followed you for many years, but intermittently. I hadn't approached hackintosh for more than 3 years and I first discovered it in 2008. But I have never had much time for this.

Greetings from Spain

PS: I have an NVDIA GTX 1060 3Gb card and wanted to buy an RTX 3070 when the price drops a bit. Is it possible to make them work? They are the cards that I prefer for Windows and it bothers me to have to change the card to work with Mac. Is it possible to use them?.

Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply. I have put the DSDT sent in the ACPI folder along with the previous aml I already had (SSDT-ORALILLA.aml and SSDT-TBH3.aml)

Now I have sound through an output called internal speakers. There is nothing front or rear for 5.1

Ethernet has not changed. There is a fast connection, but with the aforementioned indications. 2.5 does not work

BlackMagic Decklink 4k Extreme PCI card appears on hackintool detected devices but is not recognized. The BalckMagic software indicates that there is no card.

It still doesn't recognize external USB drives and firewire drives.

I hope you can help me, especially with external drives and the blackmagic card.

I am attaching my current EFI and a new Sen me file. The first one sent was created with a mix of EFIs that I have on a usb. It wasn't the internal EFI. Sorry. I have so much evidence that I go crazy.

Cheers

I don't know what the problem is with Firewire really. My Catalina installation perfectly recognizes Firewire devices, but Big Sur does not. I pass you a capture.

The PCI capture card that is also not working is the BlackMagic DeckLink 4K Extreme. In Catalina it works fine. Big Sur doesn't recognize it. Second capture
Both devices (firewire and decklink) appear in the Hackintool application.

It had not started with Windows for several days (it is installed on a third disk). Today when I did it, it did not recognize the internal audio and it appeared two unrecognized devices in the Windows administrator. They had these codes:

Path: ACPI \ UIA00000 \ 2 & DABA3FF & 1
Hardware id: ACPI \ VEN_UIA0 & DEV_0000

Path: ACPI \ MALD0000 \ 4 & 363CB9A & 0
Hardware id: ACPI \ VEN_MALD & DEV_0000

I assumed it had something to do with the modifications you sent me. Disable the devices and when restarting windows they disappeared and the motherboard audio was working.
I'm telling you this because I didn't know that hackintosh modifications can affect windows ...

You will not believe it. The problem was with the firewire card. It has two 800 inputs and one 400 input. I plugged a cable into the 400 input to capture in Windows and leave the cable connected to the PC, but with nothing at the other end. This blocked access to all PCI channels !!!!. I have noticed because I had a Lacie Quadra external disk connected and when I released the cable connected to port 400, the PC has recognized the external disk. I'm sorry to have bothered you for this nonsense. Now everything is ok. Thank you for your invaluable help.

By the way, I have changed the boot-arg alcid = 69 to 11 and now I have audio for internal speakers (front output) and for line output (REAR).

Thanks, the EFI partitions are gone. Why do you recommend not booting windows from opencore? Can opencore ACPI files affect Windows' use of hardware when booting from there?
Thanks for making me understand better how hackintosh works
