Hi,

I’ve tried to prepare the bootable usb according to non-vanilla-way tutorial. When I tried to boot the usb I have this error  I cannot enter to the installation process…

Hi, 

i've installed the Catalina from the Olarilla's image, but I have changed colours on the screen (there is a violet mask on the screen) and there is no LAN at all. So, I should add the proper kext for LAN? What have I do with the wrong colours on the desktop?

So, I've installed the Catalina with config2 and removing the one boot parameter. 

The Kext for LAN should be in /Library/Extensions? 

I've also information that my HD630 has only 6MB RAM. It should be corrected by some kexts?

i have another problem with booting after installation. A act according the the tutorial and there is following error

I have used it and after adding the device properties from the tutorial (for hd630 Kaby Lake) I have that error

To sum up and clear the situation 

 

-I have installed the Catalina on my SSD using “config2” from the Olarilla’s image. 
- after installation I followed the tutorial and used the Olarillas Repair

- I have copied the efi folder from the thread with efis for the specific chipsets 

- the Catalina is not running with that efi folder

- Catalina is not booting with the device properties for HD630 Kaby Lake
