NIC - i210 - + Catalina

hi Folks,

I'm on a H370 motherboard with a Coffee Lake processor, and have been searching info about AVB, would it be possible to get it working, more specifically for an Avid Pro Tools Carbon.

So far no luck with the onboard LAN, a i210-based NIC has come up as a possibility, and I decided to try if it would help. But it seems the system doesn't recognize it. Is there a kext that is needed for this? Or something else. Help appreciated!

This is the NIC:

And my setup:

MSI H370M BAZOOKA

Catalina 10.15.7

Thanks!

Best,

Jussi L.

thanks, will check bios if there is something.

Actually, right after I installed the card, there was a small icon in menu bar. It didn't function then as expected, so I tried the option "power off card" in the menu, and after that it was no longer visible.

After that, I changed the PCI slot to see if I could get the menu bar icon back but no luck.

Anyway, thanks!

best,
