Patch for Qosmio X505 - Intel PM55

I would be thankful if someone can help me with a patch for Qosmio X505-Q890.

There is a Qosmio X500 patch, how could I modify to make it good for X505? Is this possible?

I tried using the last DSDT trqster posted there on Mountain Lion. The problema was that after I installed it, I rebooted and neither mouse nor the keyboard worked anymore...

If everything else is working except keyboard and mouse then connect a USB mouse and keyboard to the laptop and install this option using multishit and reboot.

Wi-Fi, audio and ethernet do not work.

Also, I tried connecting an USB mouse to the laptop and still did not work.

Can you extract a DSDT using the link below and save it as .dsl and attach it?

Make sure you either extract a DSDT file on a fresh installation or use AIAD64 on windows.

Remember DSDT alone cannot make everything work you need other kext (drivers).

To get the correct kext run systeminfo http://Olarila.com/kexts/

I extracted my DSDT using DSDT Editor for Windows by the command File -> Extract DSDT. Is it ok?

Cannot open that file. Use AIDA64 for windows its free. Extract only DSDT file as shown the in below link.

rename it as dsdt.aml zip it and attach.

Edit: Never mind i renamed the file .dsl and it opened fine.

try VoodooPS2 kext in Extra folder ! working for my Toshiba (same issue, only this Kext working !)

New DSDT attached, Wifi will not work, no kext for wifi RTL8191SE.

That does not mean that if it works on Toshiba, it will work on Qosmio.

try this PS2 kext. in Extra folder

Just copy DSDT.aml in Extra folder (case sensitive)

RTL8191SE not work for me too, i have replace the pci ecard with atheros.

Open multishit and select

User DSDT.

latest voodo for audio.

FakeSMC.

Nullcpupowermanagement. (For now later can be removed)

PS2 kext for trackpad.

Atheros either net.

Chimera 1.11.1.

System Macbook pro 8.1 or the one which close your config (Latest chameleon wizard is best to to edit SMbios.plist)

I had that same wifi card and never got a kext for it. Google it and you will see many people are waiting for the kext. if you find the kext let me know.

I have replaced my wifi card with 9285, brought on ebay for £5.

If your system supports 9280 halfmini buy it this card works OOB and cost only few bugs.

So I installed it how you said and it is working, except for the ethernet. Also, the audio quality is very poor...

What can I do to make the battery work? Because currently I have no battery indicator whatsoever.

Download the systeminfo http://Olarila.com/kexts/ and run it, this will give you complete info about your hardware with VenID/DevID using it find the right kext.

For battery and Either net there are kext available just look them in the above link or at osx86.net.

So I managed to install the kexts. The problem is I have found some battery kexts which modified the AppleACPI kext and now it does not boot anymore due to some ACPI error.

How can I enter the system and modify it back?
