Only issue with my Wireless Realtek RTL8188CE. So i change my wifi card with a atheros AR9285 168b 002b (wife's computer).

Now i need to patch my DSDT for Atheros AR9285

2 ways to get the wife card working. Use a edited kext or add DSDT edits.

I have the same wifi card and i have managed to get it working with DSDT edits with the help of this forum.

Run IOReg and save it with no extension and attach it.

All is working fine, WiFi, Sound etc etc. BUT i think that my HD3000 is not finish !!

VLC tell me that QE/CI is not actived ? Can't play a video file with VLC, or youtube (black video screen with sound) :(

Hi there !

So.... i have see that my HD3000 kext was not Stock ! there was 0x01168086 on my AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB.kext/Contents/Info.plist and Stock KEXT have 01168086 only (without 0x)

So i correct the , then on reboot have SNB framebuffer don't load ... ! then replace my smbios.plist mabookpro 8.3 with a macbookpro 8.1

Now i have hd 3000 with full QE/CI, youtube working, video too ... BUT have some small artifact in the screen

Could someone post me Stock AppleIntelHD*.kext ? and a smbios.plist ? maybe i must create it with Lizard ?

People have manage to get rid of artifacts by installing a program called "Fan Control". Try it.

For SMBios edits use Chameleon wizard its good.

talking about FAN, i have a warning with Fan when booting in verbose mode !

Ok, it worked this time. I see your wifi card in IOReg now.

I have attached a new DSDT with wifi edits on new address and a Apple native IO80211Famil.kext.

Backup your IO80211Famil.kext which is currently in S/L/E and install this native kext i have attached and reboot.

From now on if you reinstall the wifi should work OOB.

Your new DSDT is not working

Atheros is ok with stock io8202 kext, but my VoodooHDA make a Kernel Panic at boot.

I have try to remove my VoodooHDA kext, and put back AppleHDA kext, then "SNB framebuffer did not show, unload"
