mapomme1108 Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 (edited) Hello, I am installing Big Sur on an Asus ROG GL552VW I want to install it with HFS+ file system to be able to backup the system. When I install it with APFS, it works fine. With HFS+, the first part of the installation works fine and the computer reboots but then it automatically reboot when the Apple logo is displayed. Then the computer is in a reboot loop. I don't know what the problem is Thank you per advance for your help Edited May 14, 2021 by mapomme1108

mapomme1108 Posted May 14, 2021 Author Posted May 14, 2021 Hello, I don't want to use APFS because when I backup the macOS partition with APFS, the result is a backup file the size of the partition, ~160 Go. If I use HFS+, the backup file is ~20 Go. I will ead your links
