Hello,

I am installing Big Sur on an Asus ROG GL552VW

I want to install it with HFS+ file system to be able to backup the system.

When I install it with APFS, it works fine.
With HFS+, the first part of the installation works fine and the computer reboots but then it automatically reboot when the Apple logo is displayed.

Then the computer is in a reboot loop.

I don't know what the problem is

Thank you per advance for your help :)

Hello,

I don't want to use APFS because when I backup the macOS partition with APFS, the result is a backup file the size of the partition, ~160 Go.

If I use HFS+, the backup file is ~20 Go.

I will ead your links
