temis01 Posted April 28, 2021 Posted April 28, 2021 (edited) Hi, I am using same BIOS params than Bug Sur 11.2.3 I am trying to do a clean install of 11.3 with vanilla image flashed to 16go USB drive I am stuck then get a scambled screen with "Still waiting for root device !" Here is a screenshot. Any idea ? My rig : Asus Prime Z370-a + last BIOS + i7 8800 coffeelake + 16Go RAM + GTX 1060 + SSD intel Edited April 28, 2021 by temis01
temis01 Posted April 28, 2021 Author Posted April 28, 2021 Hi, This is a coffeelake I7 core. I have used a catalina vanilla images from olarila before for series 300,400 and it worked fine. I am flshing from windows I don't have access to the file system of the USB drive to change anything. thanks for your help

But it’s strange cause only USB 3.1 worked and they were disabled in BIOS as adviced for previous installations procedures. Also I had to unplug GTX 1060 from its pcie slot or I was stuck at « DSMOS has arrived » I am installing right now thanks man temis Edited May 8, 2021 by temis01
