Hi MaLd0n,

I have a new laptop, the same problem as with the previous one. I can't get the OC installer to boot.

Dell Precision 7550:

  • CPU: i7-10850H (Comet Lake)
  • RAM: 64GB
  • eGPU: Intel UHD graphics (630?)
  • dGPU: Quadro T2000
  • SSD: 512GB SK Hynix PC611
  • SSD2: 256GB Micron 1100 M.2 (MTFDDAV256TBM)
  • Touchpad: DELL09C3?
  • Audio: Realtek ALC289

I'm not sure if the eGPU and touchpad are correct.

I'm not able to install MacOs at the moment. Should I delete this post and move it to the OpenCore section? I just posted here because it's the donators area.

Yea I never saw the kernel panic before, after I saw it I figured it might be NVMe. I have 2 NVMe drives in this laptop, it seems the "512GB SK Hynix PC611" isn't supported. This one "256GB Micron 1100 M.2 (MTFDDAV256TBM)" does work, since it was the SSD in my old Hackintosh laptop.

Would it be possible to disable the first NVMe slot with a SSDT? So I can keep it in the laptop for Windows?

The location paths tab isn't there for the NVMe drive. This seems to be the only useful information I can give.

Device instance path: SCSI\DISK&VEN_NVME&PROD_PC611_NVME_SK_HY\5&15EF63E8&0&000000

Parent: PCI\VEN_1C5C&DEV_1639&SUBSYS_16391C5C&REV_00\4&194146f&0&00D8

Pardon my ignorance, but where do I put the patch exactly?

This is a video of the NVMe drive that needs to be disabled by SSDT. I don't see the hardware path.

Is there an SSDT to disable the 1st NVMe slot?

It would be a pain to remove the SSD eachtime. I added a video of all device properties in the last post. I can also boot in to Linux if there's a command to see the hardware address.

u can inject device-id 0xFF, 0xFF, 0xFF, 0xFF via device properties and dont need ssdt or dsdt for this case

im prefer full dsdt ever. with this we can solve all in one time and one file
