jcmrdc Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 (edited) Hello guys, I'm trying to install macOS Big Sur 11.2 (Olarila USB image) on my Gigabyte Z90 M Gaming Rev 1.0 motherboard, BIOS F9m (latest) using the internal IGPU. Yeah, I know it's ridiculous, but I had to sell my Radeon RX590... Anyway, I followed the Dortania OpenCore configuration guide to add my Intel UHD 630 igpu to DeviceProperties section in config.plist but it simply won't work. I tried lots of combinations and different EFI folders I found for my mobo, but to no avail: in the install process, verbose is ok then the Apple logo appears for about one second and then the screen goes black. Any ideas on how to solve this annoying issue: It's driving me nuts! In case you'd like to take a look, here's the download link for my EFI folder: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1P423ok8evLxajZbEW2bji-KdZCzXus57/view?usp=sharingInsert image from URL • My BIOS Configuration is in the attached PDF in ZIP file. Thanks a lot for your time and help! Z390-M Gaming-Hackintosh-BIOS-Settings.zip Edited March 10, 2021 by jcmrdc Correcting typos

Judging from the EFI the OC version seems obsolete to me I would upgrade to the latest 0.6.7
jcmrdc Posted March 11, 2021 Author Posted March 11, 2021 (edited) Yes, I have. Also, upgrading to the latest version of OpenCore didn't do it either. The problem remains. Edited March 11, 2021 by jcmrdc

jcmrdc Posted March 13, 2021 Author Posted March 13, 2021 Thanks, guys, but I had already solved the problem. The issue was actually quite simple, right under my nose: the device id was wrong. Everything works now, except that the display doesn't wake up from sleep. I will deal with this in another topic.
