ssprod Posted March 3, 2021 Posted March 3, 2021 Greetings Maldon.. Been using this NUC with Catalina 10.15.5 without issue with a single monitor (HDMI). I've picked up a second display (HDMI) and am trying to connect that to the USB-C output on the NUC. No luck so far, new monitor is black screen and previous working monitor turns on without any display. Any assistance would be most appreciated. Thanks so much. ssprod Posted March 5, 2021 Author Posted March 5, 2021 (edited) Greetings Maldon.. Initially the same issue existed with the USB-c display not working, however if I plug it in after the HDMI display has booted to the desktop, both displays seem to be working fine. Is there a way I can correct this so it boots normally with both monitors connected? Thanks so much. Edited March 5, 2021 by ssprod

I have not seen specific reference to it on these NUC's, however a few people have used the USB-c output on these units to drive a Thunderbolt display. I'm connecting via HDMI. What's strange is that it works perfectly if I plug the USB-c display in after boot up/log in. If it's connected prior to bootup, it's messed up. Apparently, with Windows, it works fine as a secondary display.
