Lenovo Ideapad 530s-14ikb Big Sur Install problem - Help needed

Ok I've been at this for 3 days and nothing seems to work.

I have a lenovo ideapad 530s-14ikb laptop with the specs:

8th Gen Intel Core i7 8550U @ 1.8ghz Quad Core CPU, 16gb Ram, 256gb NVME SSD, Intel UHD 620/Nvidia Geforce MX130 GPU's

And I am trying to install Big Sur.

I can run it in a VM with no worries so I can create the Boot USB and do the clover configurator migration as well as the EFI modifying with no problems whatsoever.

However I cannot get the USB installer to boot up at all. I have a feeling that my UEFI is blocking my drive.

I don't have secure boot enabled at all.

Is there any workarounds to sort this or am I doomed to run windows 10 on it?

Cheers.

Hi!

is your USB installer visible in boot menu?

No. If I install things like windows 10 or ubuntu then those boot up without a hitch. anything apple related however, nope doesn't show at all.
