Vxgue Posted January 25, 2021 Posted January 25, 2021 Hey guys, I'm trying to install MacOS on my HP Omen 15 but I'm having a lots of problems. I tried installing with clover, open core, tried different MacOS versions and I just can't get it done, hopefully some can help me. So, first of all this is my hardware: HP Omen 15-dc1004la Specs Processor: Intel Core i7-9750H Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1650 (Intel UHD Graphics 630) RAM: 32GB ( 2x16GB, DDR4, 2666MHz) LAN: realtek gaming gbe family controller (LAN 10/100/1000 GbE) / wifi: intel wireless ac 9560 160mhz Keyboard and Trackpad: PS/2 Storage: SDDM.2 NVMe 128 GB / HDD SATA 1 TB and 7200 rpm Ok, so fist of all my BIOS doesn't have the Advanced Options Tab (I'll attach screenshots of my BIOS configuration) What I want to do is having a dual boot with Windows 10 on my SDD and MacOS on my HDD. First I tried to install Catalina with OpenCore, everything was fine until I was in DiskUtility. My HDD doesn't show up using OpenCore, just mu SDD and my USB show up in disk utility. So, I tired with Clover with this guide (Hackintosh Guide); at the beginning I tried with Big Sur, but the boot menu was different, I couldn't choose options to set the config to config2 and the installer didn't boot, so then I tried installing Catalina, which worked just perfectly. But the problem was when I tried to enter the boot menu when my computer turn on it just give me a black screen (witch I still can fix atm), but any way, I just changed the boot order from the BIOS. After the installation with Catalina I mounted the EFI volume, copied the EFI folder, restart, then install clover and updated my kext. BUT when I restarted again it booted me on windows. so anytime I want to run MacOS I have to connect the usb to my computer so the clover boot loader can start, and it was too laggy. I don' remember very well if it was just with this installation that my computer doesn't recognize my battery, when i turn on my computer it appears a meesage about me not having an HP battery and i can tunr on my computer if the charger is not connected I tried to install Majove instead (again tried with OpenCore and had the same issue with my HDD not showing in the list) I installed it with Clover, and everything was fine, but this time the kexts weren't working, I had my Ethernet connected and under the network setting it actually detected the ethernet was connected but didn't have internet access, I booted into Windows, downloaded all the kext needed, booted again in MacOS, installed the kext, restarted and nothing, still have no intern nor sound, also I tried to install the clover bootloader and didn't work (again) Basiclly my main problems are: No Boot Menu Options when clicking mi F9 key in start up (just black screen) Clover Bootloader wont install Kext doesn't work after restart. Battery not detected as HP battery on start up, can't turn on my computer if the charger is not connected. I'm just trying to install MacOS in my HDD (any version Majove, Catalina or Big Sur) while having my Windows 10 on my SDD Basically I just need help to be able to run the bootloader and not having to connect my usb to dual boot, Get my hackintosh smooth and running, Can someone help me? :c I´ll also attach my config, plist, screenshots of my BIOS screenshots of my EFI folder, EFI.zip
