drteeth84 Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 when i boot without wait=yes, the HFS+ files load, the extensions load, but then the comp restarts and I don't get the graphical installer interface. The comp just restarts and hangs there if i boot onto the HD. http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/3075/20120807202931.jpg thats the last page on wait=yes, after which i press spacebar, and then the system restarts.

drteeth84 Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 THANK YOU now in the installer graphical interface
abc_sk2002 Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 I have installed following the instruction and things got installed fine. But the only severe problem is that it is not identifying any network automatically and not able to connect to the internet thru my broadband. I tried to put all network parameters like ip, DNS, subnet mask, etc. in PPPoE connection, but no success. I am using this in Dual boot with Windows 7 and the same connection is working perfectly in Win 7. I request help from the forum on this.
khjz Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 OK, my biggest doubt! I don't have a Hackintosh/Macintosh! I just have an access to a windows pc but i want to install chameleon to the usb drive! Is there any possibility that I could do that? Because chameleon installation wizards and stuff come in package format (A format which windows doesn't recognize) It just shows them as folders.

Cassio Posted August 9, 2012 Author Posted August 9, 2012 Post 1 If you need, use TransMac to remove kexts which are causing problems (System/Library/Extensions) and use the flag -f (ignore caches) at boot, or remove /System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches/Startup/Extensions.mkext If you get KP related to ApplePolicyControl.kext remove /System/Library/Extensions/AppleGraphicsControl.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ApplePolicyControl.kext -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Consulting for macOS Hackintosh since 2006 HERE
