how do i boot to that usb ive just created

because i already have 10.6.8 and its not fresh installation

i cannot boot to the usb

i created the usb with sudo dd if=[the raw image path] of=[my usb stick]

sure it is done the right way ?

see in bios what u have set for the usb

and define usb priority to boot first

i don't see any other reason why not boot

Can I install this on Original macbook pro 2008 model,If yes then As normal Procedure or something else . On macbookpro currently I have windows 7 installed fully,means no mac partition or boot camp etc.

no that image is for hack.. not for mac..

it have several kext for hack pc

u only need a clean image from 10.8

good install

Can you please tell me from where i can download the clean image for original macbookpro,Coz I don't have osx on macbookpro(windows 7) so make sure that i can't use appstore.

Downloaded the image and got it on usb as guided. When I boot with -v -x flag I get msg this mac ox does not support this platform. Help appreciated.

Hi, all friend asked for help with is old mac pro with dual xenon 2009 had on it OSX ML its second hand and he tried to reinstall system have now problem with installing from recovery HDD during installation is asking apple ID typed correctly returning an error as is not as registered 1st user.

Tried Bootable USB however somehow can't boot from IT and recovery HDD overrides USB and issues come up again, tried bootable USB with Mavericks and it's returning to original osx 10.7 ML.

how can I sort it out? Suggestions and advises most welcome
