Zomboir Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Hello. I've followed the installation instructions up to the point where you boot into the drive that you created at install.A load of text runs, it boots into a black screen and scrolls a load more text, then stops at "BluetoothHC[controller][start] -- completed" and it does not budge from there. I have restarted, reinstalled on a freshly formatted HDD twice and it will not move past this. I don't even have a bluetooth device plugged in. Is there any way to progress from here? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, - James

johnandbuddy Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 So I get stuck with the waiting for root device dialog. I tried a few workarounds like entering debug=8 ahcidisk=1 and it get a little farther. But it eventually gets stuck at waiting for root device. I do not have access to a Mac. artur-pt Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Hello have u removed graphics kext ? and u photo is nothing ? good hack PB Easy Note TM 86 - i5 430 M - H55M - Ram - 6 GB - Alc272 - Radeon HD 5470 512 QE/CI Lenovo G500 - i5 3230m - HM77 - Ram - 8 GB - Conexant audio - HD 4000 My OS X Files
Satellight Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Hi. Please, help me, googled everything I could. But still in trouble with "NTFS volume name...". I've deleted all of the video kexts, tried GE=No -v -f, none of these helped me. My config is MB: Asus p8z77-v LK CPU: Core i5-3570 (non-k) GFX: GeForce GTX 570 RAM: 16 GB 1600 MHz BIOS version is 1001 unpatched. P.S.: I've forgot to tell that I can boot with -x.
artur-pt Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 hello if u boot with -x is u video.. google about u video and how to enable it correctly.. good hack PB Easy Note TM 86 - i5 430 M - H55M - Ram - 6 GB - Alc272 - Radeon HD 5470 512 QE/CI Lenovo G500 - i5 3230m - HM77 - Ram - 8 GB - Conexant audio - HD 4000 My OS X Files
Satellight Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Every damn source says that GTX 570 is supported out of the box. However, my hackintosh is unable to load May be there's something different with os x installation on MBR?
artur-pt Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 hello have u disable the intel hd 4000 onboard in u bios ? good hack PB Easy Note TM 86 - i5 430 M - H55M - Ram - 6 GB - Alc272 - Radeon HD 5470 512 QE/CI Lenovo G500 - i5 3230m - HM77 - Ram - 8 GB - Conexant audio - HD 4000 My OS X Files
Satellight Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Of course. It has been enabled during installation only. BTW there's HD2500 Series which AFAIK is not compatible with MacOS X. So, if it'll be useful I can tell my installation order: 1) Removed GTX 570 from PCI-E, switched to iGPU in BIOS 2) Booted from USB flash with GraphicsEnabler=No 3) Installed OS X 10.8.4 4) Switched to PCI-E GPU in BIOS, put GPU in place 5) Booted from USB to -s mode, removed all of the Intel, AMD and NVidia graphics kexts 6) Rebooted from USB to installed on HDD MacOS X and here troubles begins: I've got "NTFS Volume name bla-bla-bla". I've tried GE=No/Yes, PCIRootUID=0/1, -v, -f in different combinations (bruteforce, yeah). Any ideas?

Satellight Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Hello. Sorry if it seems like I'm so stupid but I there's no 'IOPCIPrimaryMatch' key in my NVDAGF100HAL.kext/info.plist. Do I have to add it at the bottom of this file?
