kidimon Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Hello I have succesfully instaled 10.8 using this usb image. Tried installing chameleon bootloader but it stops at grey screen. Instaled clover bootloader and my hackintosh now boots without usb drive but when I start my system I get bios like menu where I have to choose from what I will boot Hdd/dvd/usb. Ok when I select hdd then I have 6 green rectangles without any text and I have to sellect 2nd one to boot in partition on which I have hackintosh. Does anyone one how to fix this? So at least I can see what I select and how to get rid of boot manager at first? Thanks and hope this make sense.
pernacabeluda Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Hi, looks like a theme problem, try installing a Clover theme and configure in config.plist <key>GUI</key> <dict> <key>Theme</key> <string>theme_name</string> <key>Timeout</key> <integer>5</integer> <key>DefaultBootVolume</key> <string>volume_name</string> </dict> -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Consulting for macOS Hackintosh since 2006 HERE
kidimon Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Installed Chimera 2.0 bootloader, and everything works great only the bootloader has very low resolution, but once it boots resolution goes back to normal. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Zomboir Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Hello. I've followed the installation instructions up to the point where you boot into the drive that you created at install.A load of text runs, it boots into a black screen and scrolls a load more text, then stops at "BluetoothHC[controller][start] -- completed" and it does not budge from there. I have restarted, reinstalled on a freshly formatted HDD twice and it will not move past this. I don't even have a bluetooth device plugged in. Is there any way to progress from here? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, - James

But it eventually gets stuck at waiting for root device. I do not have access to a Mac. Satellight Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Hi. Please, help me, googled everything I could. But still in trouble with "NTFS volume name...". I've deleted all of the video kexts, tried GE=No -v -f, none of these helped me. My config is MB: Asus p8z77-v LK CPU: Core i5-3570 (non-k) GFX: GeForce GTX 570 RAM: 16 GB 1600 MHz BIOS version is 1001 unpatched. P.S.: I've forgot to tell that I can boot with -x.

Satellight Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Every damn source says that GTX 570 is supported out of the box. However, my hackintosh is unable to load May be there's something different with os x installation on MBR?
