Type cpus=1 at boot.

Resize pictures, 800x600 is enough, don't need a 14 megapixel image.

You don't need, it's a suggestion.

You can use Chameleon installer and edit config files with text editor if you want.

Ok ive managed to get into the installation bit. had a question though. My HDD's were only detected in installation if i put them in AHCI. It wasnt detected if in IDE mode. And if in AHCI mode, i couldnt boot into windows, got a BSOD.

Am i gonna have to keep switching between AHCI & IDE mode in BIOS every time if i want to get into mac and windows every now and then?

No, you can configure Windows to work in AHCI mode.

regedit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/CurrentControlSet/Services/Msahci

Set "Value data" to zero.

If i dont change it to AHCI mode when installing, it gets stuck with all those lines before reaching the installer. if i do change it, it gets into the installer.

How would I know? I don't know which SATA controller you have.

If you can get an ATA kext for your controller, you can use OS X in IDE mode.

I would use both OS X and Windows in AHCI mode.

If you get KP related to ApplePolicyControl.kext remove /System/Library/Extensions/AppleGraphicsControl.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ApplePolicyControl.kext

Use TransMac, details on first post.

Ive succesfully installed ML on my system. I can boot into the mac as well and play around with it. Only thing is i need to install the network, video and audio drivers. As im still booting with GraphicsEnabler=No.

Moving on to the earlier posts with links for help on post installation.

You probably have HD with 4 K sectors, try writing boot1h with dd for Windows.

But how do i go about fixing the Internet and Audio? im guessing im gonna have to obtain the kext files for them from somewhere and install them using the kext wizard right? so i download them on windows and boot into mac and open the zip file there? where do i get the kext files from?

Also do i need Chameleon? is it just a boot loader or does it help in enabling graphics, ethernet and audio?

im guessing i need a proper step by step instruction for post install as well. If you may please.

Im still having to use GraphicsEnabler=no -f to boot.

Now regarding the above, FakeSMC.kext, NullCPUPowerManagement.kext & VoodooPS2Controller.kext are already part of the USB installer as mentioned above. Or do i need to do something? whats the difference between kext and mkext?
