artur-pt Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 hello i don't know why.... to boot mac os x needs a boot loader (chameleon) a proper smbios.plist a org.chameleon.boot.plist fakesmc.kext nullcpupowermanagement.kext see here http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1716 post install try to use a chameleon.pkg from here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/231075-chameleon-21svn-official-pkg-installer-binaries/ good hack PB Easy Note TM 86 - i5 430 M - H55M - Ram - 6 GB - Alc272 - Radeon HD 5470 512 QE/CI Lenovo G500 - i5 3230m - HM77 - Ram - 8 GB - Conexant audio - HD 4000 My OS X Files
juliuscaesar Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Here is what I did 1. I Copied the .raw file to an USB stick using SUSE Studio Image Writer. 2. I booted from the usb stick and installed MAC OS X in a new partition I made earlier 3. After OS X finished installing the missing Operating System kept appearing 4. I reformatted my windows and now when I go to the boot menu I don't know how to boot from the partition where I installed the OS X 5. I confirmed that the partition is still there but it has no path or drive letter in windows Of course, the partition is in the format of MAC OSX Journaled

stomp94 Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 I've have installed Chameleon from the site you recommended, but still the same problem appears. now I get driver fault as addition to it! and I have installed these: a smbios.plist in the /Extra folder to the root of HD a org.chameleon.boot.plist in the /Extra folder to the root of HD fakesmc.kext to /System/Library/Extensions nullcpupowermanagement.kext to /System/Library/Extensions I don't know what I'm doing wrong.... juliuscaesar Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Para quem tem o problema de "still waiting for root device" quando usa kernelcache (ou só funciona usando -f), aplique este patch que adiciona um delay de 200 ms no início da kext IOAHCIBlockStorage, resolvendo o problema. Pls translate this My problem now is that every time I try to boot from the hard drive where I installed the OS X it freezes at "still waiting for root device" My specs are: intel i3 processor ATI video card SATA hard drives
pernacabeluda Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 My problem now is that every time I try to boot from the hard drive where I installed the OS X it freezes at "still waiting for root device" Does it work if you use -f or UseKernelCache=no at boot? If it does, just run the patch-ahci-mlion.pl script. -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Consulting for macOS Hackintosh since 2006 HERE
